Week of August 5, 2013

Welcome to Mrs. Lawrence's Science Blog.

For the week of August 5, 2013:

Magnet Chemistry
We discussed safety in the laboratory and learned the names & functions of common chemical laboratory equipment. The use of a Bunsen burner was also demonstrated.

***Test on Safety and Equipment scheduled for Tuesday, August 13.

Honors Physics
We discussed/reviewed the metric system and how to convert units. Significant figures were introduced.

***Chapter 1 Test scheduled for Friday, August 16.

If you were absent any day this week, please see me for make up work and notes.
